Knieriem has been royally awarded “Purveyor to the Royal Court” status and has accomplished numerous successful innovations in license plate production and manufacturing.
The J. Knieriem family has gained notoriety for revolutionizing the production of license plates by the foundation of a unique press and injection mold technique, enabling the creation of high quality 3D license plates. This has granted the Dutch great privilege to equip vehicles with superior quality 3D plates over the past 50 years.

Our Service
We provide, either independently or via an exclusive Agency Partnership, all necessary equipment for the production of the luxury 3D license plates.
From blank plates, plate press and laminator, master molds to complete laminating lines. All the equipment has been invented, developed and built in-house. This guarantees that our patented plates are produced exclusively in accordance with each countries legal standards as well as the road and transportation authority requirements.
We are committed to produce license plates for any country with any existing security feature available in today’s market.
Our luxury 3D license plates

Concerning traditional license plates, characters are simply pressed into the plate. Our luxury license plates are created using innovative techniques to outlast traditional plates. We have created a sturdy license plate that features high-quality lettering and a sleek, 3D effect.
All characters are molded into the plate and sealed with ABS and ASA plastic. Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is known for chemical resistance, strain-resistance, and tough impact strength. Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) is equally tough and provides exceptional UV protection, protecting our plates from harsh sun rays and persistently maintaining its shine and color. Thus, next to an exclusive unique 3D design, LLP plates are highly resistant to wear and tear with a sustainable finish.
